He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Porter and Annie Rachel Porter (Fleming); his wife Bonnie Jean Wescott; and his parents-in-law, Lavonne, Bob Gipe, Lorena and Leonard Wescott.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Porter (Paula) of Cave Creek, Arizona; his grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Porter of Columbia and Dalton Lee Porter; and his siblings, Joe Porter of Gallatin, Paulette Carter and May Williams of Gallatin, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great -nieces and great -nephews.
