She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Vanlandingham and Mildred Vanlandingham (Kent); her husband Irwin Fredrick Bacon; and her brother B. J. Vanlandingham. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Tom Bacon (Ronda) of Jamesport, Missouri and Shari Wyatt (Greg) of McKinney, Texas; her stepgrandchildren, Philip Lowrey (Natalie) of Columbia, Casey Lowrey (Jennifer) of McKinney, Charlie Bacon (Savannah) of Trenton and Callie Bacon of Trenton, Missouri; her nephews, Blane Vanlandingham of Leawood and Brent Vanlandingham of Merriam, Kansas; her niece Ann Janette Griffin of Shawnee, Kansas; her cousin Chip Vanlandingham (Linda) of Ludlow, Missouri; and her pet Tippy. She is also survived by four step great grandchildren.
