He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hopkins and Betty Lou Hopkins (Morgan); his grandson Jacob Ryan Hopkins; and his brother Tim Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Covert; his children, Jeremy Ross Hopkins of Millington, Tony (Ashlee) of Chillicothe, Missouri, Tracy Congdon of Bay City and Lisa Ewald (Ben) of Millington, Michigan; and his siblings, Jack Hopkins (Cindy) of Indiana, Bill Hopkins (Carol) of Mt. Morris, Michigan and Jill Hopkins of Davison, Michigan.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
