He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Tolliver and Mary Helen Reid (Hinnen); his wife Dorothy Reid; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Reid and Donald Bowe.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wright (Lea) of Manilla, Iowa, Stephanie Rainey of Dickson, Grace Cott (Frank) of Topeka and Shiela Herzberg (Joe) of Defiance, Iowa; and his siblings, Donald "Donnie" Reid (Ronnie), Brenda Samm (Cecil Samm, Jr.) of Chillicothe, Anna Bowe of Kirksville and Della Ishmael of Chillicothe, Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
