He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Lorrine Fifer (Long); his wife Shirley Fifer; and his son Donald James Fifer. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Sue Bate (Ray) of Ashland, Missouri and Beth Ann Fifer of Port Richey, Florida; his grandchildren, Kellye McCord of Ashland, Missouri, Randy Bate of Ashland, Missouri and Andy Bate of Fulton, Missouri; and his siblings, David Fifer (Pat) of Brookfield, Missouri and Joyce Powell (Allen) of Irving, Texas.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
