It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joreen Jewell of Chillicothe, Missouri, born in Avalon, Missouri, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. Walker and Vival Bell Walker (Burton); her husband Clifford Jewell; and her great grandchild Nicholas Hilton. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Allnut (Ritchie) of Chillicothe and Kathy Haynes of Meadville, Missouri. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
