Lorena May Avery Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2021, at the age of 81, Lorena May Avery of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother May Avery; her parents, Wendell Lewis and Viola Verdeen Huff (Dewane); her husband Gerald Howard Avery; her sons, James Lair McKinney (Teena) of Biggsville, Rex McKinney of Oquawka and Stephan Nylin (Maria) of Chillicothe, Missouri; her stepchildren, Rodney Avery of Olympia, Andrew Avery of Lexington, Robin White of Joy and Amy Zippe of West Burlington, Iowa; her siblings, Lewis Huff (Junior) of Illinois, Melody Sage of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charles Huff and Donna Taylor; and her brother-in-law Alan. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren.
