He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jennings and Marie Jennings (Riley); his son Steve Jennings; and his brothers, Delbert, Bill and Charles Jennings.
He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Metzner; his wife Gwen; his children, David Jennings (Arlinda) of Louisburg, Ron Jennings (Michelle) of Houston, Texas and Debbie Miner (Mic) of Lenexa, Kansas; and his sister Charlene Meyers of Chillicothe, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
