It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Burton of Chillicothe, Missouri, born in Hamilton, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollie Alexander and Hadena Alexander; and her siblings, James Alexander and Rollene Pritchett. She is survived by: her husband Paul Burton; her daughter Jani Schepers of Prairie Village; her grandson Mike Schepers of Brooklyn, NY; her nephew Bari VanDyke of Trenton; and her friend Jean Guffey of Breckenridge, MO.
Due to the pandemic, the memorial service will be postponed to a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a lunch fund for the Hedrick Medical Center staff as appreciation for their compassion and skill.
