He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Wendell Turner and Avonne Olson Turner; and his grandparents, George, Mable Turner, Lawrence and Mabel Olson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Turner of Blue Springs, MO, Nancy (John Hoye) of Raymore, MO and Kathy (Stacey Weaver) of Liberty, MO; his sister C. Joan Meyer of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Molly Hoye, Meg Weaver, Clifford Hoye, Drew Weaver and Maxwell Hoye; and his nephews, William, Marc, Edward and James Meyer.
