Dick Saale wrote a sympathy message

“I always enjoyed Jimmy’s company. He had such an enjoyable personality. We laughed while exchanging stories about our dad’s and their trips together to Notre Dame football games each year. Dad always had funny stories to tell about Bill Alford that originated on those trips. Jimmy and I shared a lot of laughter together. I’ll miss him and our storytelling. Dick Saale”
