With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gloria Gay Johnston of Chillicothe, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda F. Briggs and Lawrence H. Fenner; and her husband Larry A. Johnston. She is survived by: her children, David A. Johnston (Mary) of Columbia, Richard D. Johnston (Sally) of Las Vegas, Susan Shayce Johnston of Gainesville and Robert S. Johnston (Angela) of Chillicothe, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Jesse Mixson, Alexander Lucido-Johnston, Elena Mixson (Steve), Steven Adam Minski (Emily), Antonina Chapin (Joe), Riley Mixson and Maxwell Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Daisy, Boone and Lily. She is also survived by four siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home - Chillicothe (910 Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Forest O. Triplett Memorial Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
