It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Leroy Sweany (Chillicothe, Missouri), who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sweany and Opal Sweany (Brown); and his brother Edward Eugene Sweany. He is survived by: his former wife Jane E. Litton Gaunt; his wife Jane E. Sweany; his children, Mark (Margo Sweany) of Lenexa, Charles of Leavenworth, Darrin Sweany (Michelle) of Olathe, Kansas and Cindy (Andre De Almeida) of Overland, Kansas; and his stepchildren, Kyle (Myra Gaunt) of Lock Springs, Missouri and Rhonda Tedrick (Ted) of Chula, Missouri. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
