She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Midgyett and Clara Midgyett (Bentley); her husband Robert Lee Bruce, Sr.; her son Robert Lee Bruce, Jr.; and her siblings, Ray, Paul, Richard, Robert, Roy Lee, Martin, Clarence, Vivian Hutcherson, Nancy White and Etta Mae Midgyett.
She is survived by: her children, David A. Bruce of Kansas City, Missouri, Teresa N. Bruce of Oklahoma City and Yolanda Tubbs of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Howard Midgyett (Helen) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Gloria Midgyett of Chillicothe, Missouri.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
