He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Newton and Edith Newton (Brown); and his wife Lillie Louise Dye. He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Gay Newton), Roger (Vicky Newton) and Marion (Donald Tittle); and his brother Earl Newton. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
