He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Clement and Adah Pearl McCoy Bishop (Chadwick); his former wives, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Whitlow and Betty McCoy; his son Bruce M. McCoy; and his siblings, Joan Ostertag and Tom Bishop.
He is survived by: his friend Jack Neal; his wife Sharon McCall (Powell) of Chillicothe, Missouri.; his children, Chrysa Niewald (Richard) of Owensville, Missouri, Claudia Perry of Kansas City, Missouri and Rolfe C. McCoy (Julie) of Chillicothe, Missouri; his grandson Matthew Niewald; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Abigail, Olivia, Ethan, Parker, Lucas, Isabella, Emily, Karsin, Henli, Elliott, Elyse, Adah Pearl, Zeppelin, Oliver and Lennon; his stepsons, John McCall (Emily) of Gardner and Tom McCall of St. Charles, Missouri; and his brother Jim Bishop (Kaye) of Georgetown, Texas.
