He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Harvey Rist and Mildred Jean McNally Rist; his sister Debra Rist Johnson; his stepmother Gwen Rist; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Huckaby and Butch Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Myria Rist and Billy Rist Jr.; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Matthew, Shaylynn, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Hunter, Aireanna and Brieanna; his stepsiblings, Joyce Constant, Kathy Gardner and Bill Cobb; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Joiner, Jessica Joiner and Joshua Joiner; and his cousin Sid MCnally.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3141 Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601). The military honors will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
