He is survived by: his wife Edna Ann Durand; his children, Michelle Gann (Donald) of Galveston, TX, Donna Sue McComas of Nixa, MO, Joe McComas (Crystal) of Higginsville, MO and Thomas Atkinson (Tia Kanan) of Warrensburg, MO; his siblings, Maryann Rector of Oak Grove, MO, Harold Atkinson (Priscilla) of Holden, MO and Benjamin Franklin Atkinson of Independence, MO; his brother-in-law Floyd Murphy of Steele, MO; and his great grandchild Lucas Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
