She was predeceased by: her parent Peggy Elliott (Bates); her stepfather Frank Elliott; and her sister Helen Snyder. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Short; her stepchildren, Tonia Bacon (Kevin), Stephen Short (Cindi) and Michele McCawley (Tim); her siblings, Kathryn Harrelson (Charles Poisson), Bruce Bates, Kelly Bates, Shirley Gowin and Robert Elliott (Linda Rice); and her brother-in-law Tom Biles. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
