He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Boyd and Opal King Boyd; his wife Carolyn Ida Emig; and his brother Dr. Richard A. Boyd. He is survived by: his children, Craig Boyd (Louann) of Town, Keith Boyd (Peggy) of St. Charles, MO, Leslie Abrahms (Simon) of Kansas City, MO and Kent Boyd of Springfield, IL; and his sister Leann Boyd Smith of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
