He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Zickel and William Joseph Zickel Sr.; his sibling Shirley Huesgen (Stan); and his wife Patricia Ann Zickel (Johnson). He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Zickel and John Steven Zickel (Joan); his children, Michele Roberts, Diane Ewing (Bruce) and David Zickel (Lisa); his grandchildren, Felicia Roberts (Tiffany), Nick Roberts (Regina), Austin Ewing (Edie), Christopher Ewing, Ryan Zickel (Alexis) and Kyle Zickel; and his great grandchild Wren Ewing.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Incarnate Word Catholic Church (13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery (740 N Mason Rd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Bill's memory be made to The Alzheimer's Association, in honor of his dear wife, Patricia, or to The BackStoppers.
