It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Toshihiko Shimoda of Chesterfield, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tomisaku Shimoda and Seiko Shimoda; his children, Kumiko Shimoda (Tim), Yoko Williams (Rick) and Mako Shimoda (Mike); his grandfathers, Ojiichan, Dan, Chris, Blake, Sydney, Nick and Tyler; and his spouse Aiko Horiguchi (Horiguchi).
In lieu of flowers/If desired, contributions may be made to Missouri Botanical Gardens - specifically the Japanese Garden, The University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine.
