He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. Hopmeier and Esther Hopmeier; and his wife Patricia Hopmeier. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Moore (Michael) and Tim Hopmeier (Dorothy Norland); and his caregiver Jennifer Smith.
