She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Circle and Lois Circle; and her sisters, Evelyn Circle, Betty Krider and Anna Cleland.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Ratts; her children, Dr. Valerie S. Ratts (Matthew Gornet) of Ladue, Andrew W. Ratts (Dawn) of Highland Park and Dr. Eric B. Ratts (Kathryn) of Northville; her brother David O. Circle (Diane) of North Royalton; and her grandchildren, Jessica Ratts, Dr. Megan Gornet, Jeffrey Dolphin, Zachary Gornet, Parker Dolphin, Austin Ratts, Cameron Gornet, Thomas Ratts and Oliver Ratts.
