She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Meder and Edward Meder of St. Louis; her husband Gene Alexander; and her son David Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Steven Alexander, Sandra Alexander (Charlotte) and Matt Alexander (Tina); and her granddaughters, Kayla, Lucille, Eleanor and Cecilia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Incarnate Ward (13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rita's memory to the Saint Louis County Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
