He was predeceased by: his parents, Elden Macy and Dora Macy; his wife Barbara Joan Macy (Sebasky); and his brother Ronald Macy. He is survived by: his sister Joanne Sexton; his children, Jeanne Gravatt, Beth Boone, Michelle "Shelly" (Wilken) and Richard Macy Jr.; and his grandchildren, Kevin Gravatt, Steven Gravatt, Paris Wilken and Hector Wilken.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Incarnate Word Catholic Church (13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
