It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Hill of Chesterfield, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Hill; her parents, Joseph Jaas and Frances Jaas; her daughter Kathleen Hill; and her sister Frances Spratt.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Hill, Jr. (Kate), Steven Hill, Marilyn Volmert (James), Suzanne Colvin (David), Carolyn Kusmin (Bruce), Barbara Meyer (Kerry), David Hill (Tina) and Chris Hill (Jane); her grandchildren, John Hill (Debbie), Julie Bertel (Jeff), Laura Hotz (Mark), Chrissy Rogers (Whit), Tommy Hill (Jenny), Dawn Volmert, James Volmert (Megan), Ryan Kusmin (Tom), Caylin Britton (Robert), Daniel Kusmin (Shea), Drew Hill, Ben Meyer, Grace Hill and Auggie Hill; and her brother Emil Jaas.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to St Jude's Children's Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
