He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Schimweg and Hilda Schimweg. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; his children, Kellie Fontaine (Cody), Scot Schimweg (Colleen) and Carrie McGrail (Steve); his grandchildren, Allison and Logan Schimweg; and his children, Kayla, Colin and Riley McGrail. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, sister and brother in laws and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery – St. Louis.
