He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Kessler and Patricia June Kessler (Simpson); and also, John Wesley Duff and Mary Duff (Blake). He is survived by: his wife Laura Jean (Duff); his sons, John (Katie), Patrick (Kelsey), Timothy and Jarod Lawson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Sydney, Jack, Graham, Caroline, Weston Kessler and Gavin Lawson; and his siblings, Dale (Cynthia), Keith (Diane), Tom and Deborah Thomas (Nelson). He is also survived by family, Rusty was also a caring uncle to his nephew and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005).
