He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert Cunningham, Sr. and Mildred Dorothea Speer; and his brother James Cunningham (Joan) of Florida. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Cunningham (Dillard); his sons, Joseph R. Cunningham III and Pete Cunningham (Kristen); and his grandchildren, Cassidy, Joseph and Laci Cunningham.
