He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Springman and Harriett Springman (Meyers). He is survived by: his siblings, Ry Springman (Carol) of Godfrey, IL, Matthew Springman (Erin) of Mokena, IL and Dell Marie Kelby of College Station, Texas.; his nieces and nephews, Jenny Farley (Josh), Kevin Springman, Mary Kate Selling (Scott), Chris Kelby (Sue) and Mary Beth Lazarine (Brett); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reiley, Oscar, Gus, Harry Farley, Cooper, Nelly Selling, Quinn, Koen Lazarine and Noah Kelby.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Schaaf Funeral Home (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (717 State St, Alton, IL 62002).
