We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 86, Joan Chase in Chesterfield, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pleis and Celeste Pleis; and her parents-in-law, Emma Chase and Al Chase. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Katie Lindvall (Mike), Ryan Kummer (Allison), Tyler Kummer (Christina), Zach Holder, Brandon Biele, Olivia Biele (Nate), Dylan, Nick, Dalton, Grayson and Vince Biele; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Ellie, Gwen and Vivian; her husband Charles Chase; her children, Sherrie Holder (Bob), Steve Biele, Lisa Kummer (Mark), Mike Biele and Debbie Humphreys (Paul); and her brother Bill Pleis.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2800 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
