He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Zachary Parker Steele and Dillon Tucker Steele; his siblings, Cathy Steele, Betsy Backe (Jim) and Don Steele (Chris); his close friend Eve Sharpe Steele; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grayce, River, Ayla, Shane Wojciehowski, Walt, Calvin Backe and Teddy San Filippo; his uncles, Mike Weil (Nancy) and David Weil (Ruth Halperin); and his cousins, Gene Weil (Katherine Borsecnik), Sue Weil (Sandy Goodman), Ted Weil and Ilene Siegel (Fred).
