With solemn reverence, we commemorate Janet Carol Hammer of Chesterfield, Missouri, whose life came to an end on December 10, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Owen and Harriet Owen; her husband Rev. Edward Hammer; and her siblings, Robert Owen, Daniel Owen and Donna Owen-Hagencord.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Ann Ciscell (Stephen) of DeSoto, MO, James Hammer (Debra) of Delevan, WI and Thomas Hammer (Ann) of Kirkwood, MO; and her grandchildren, Timothy Leach (Michelle), Jeffrey Leach, Bradley Cantu (Riki), Andrew Leach (Sarah), Beth King (Brian), Charlie Massa (Kristen), Christopher Gibson (Lizz Webb), Michelle Liljegren (Bruce), Nicholas Hammer (Ashley Hotzel), Abigail Hammer, Matthew Hammer (Molly), Giovanni Russo and Hannah Dieckhaus. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with multiple family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (327 Woods Mill Rd, Manchester, MO 63011).
