He was predeceased by: his daughter Ingrid Ruth; his parents, James Everett Faulkner and Ruth Magdaline Faulkner; and his sisters, Jean Handke (Jim) and Ruth Ottoson (Jim).

He is survived by: his wife Irma Faulkner; his children, Carol O'Brien (John), Cathy Faulkner (Mario Guerra), James R. Faulkner (late Jennifer) and Cindy Manno (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Thomas Bald (Karina), Michael Bald, Ava Faulkner, Brady Faulkner, Alexandria Manno, Dominic Manno and Adrianna Manno. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Memorial contributions in Jim's honor may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
