He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion and Marie Theresa Clark (Geiben); his wife Jane Clark (Kincaid) of Louisville; and his sisters, Jane White and Peggy Milam.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Clark Penney of Wildwood, MO; his grandsons, Alexander "Zander" Clark Penney, William James Penney, Ethan Kincaid Penney and Lucas Michael Penney; his brother Robert Clark (Maureen) of Springfield; and his nieces, Brenda Tatum, Theresa Workman, Sue White Harden and Bronwyn Clark McDaniel. He is also survived by his friends, fishing with his daughter and friends.
