He is survived by: his wife Andi (Barenboim); his children, Carrie Hilburn (Matt) of Annapolis, MD, Craig Sumner (Amy) of Avon Lake, OH and Blake Sumner (Morgan) of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Kate, Ben, Andrew Hilburn, Jackson, Charlie and Caroline Sumner; and his siblings, Carole Barnicle, Nancy Chesbrough, Cindy Sumner-Moryl and Ronald Sumner.
