We bid farewell to Mary Elizabeth Maize of Cherryville, Missouri, born in Eastland, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Yarbrough and Bertha Jordan; her husband Lester "Blackie" Maize; her siblings, Margaret Powers (James), Bill Jordan (Rita), Landon Jordan and Tommy Jordan (Margie); her son Troy Woodall; her grandsons, Zack Huffman, David Woodall and Dillon Woodall; and her great grandchildren, Jaedyn Woodall and Elijah Woodall.
She is survived by: her son Danny Huffman (Tammy); her sister Betty Jane Webb of Abaline, TX; her grandchildren, Cody Huffman (Gayle), Jesse Woodall, Heather Boone (RB), Josh Woodall (Rachel), Jesse A. Woodall, Devin Woodall, Aaron Griner, Miranda LaRue (Adrian), Jonathan Woodall, Tori Gray (Michael), Marco Cruz, Alejandro Cruz, Abigail Cruz and Nick Woodall; her great grandchildren, Avery Misenhimer, Cade Huffman, Haylee, Abbygail Woodall, Gavin, Madalynn, GracieMae, Jordan Boone, Carter Woodall, Isabella, Lillian, Everleigh Woodall, Samuel LaRue, Berkely, Adalee, Brynlee Gray, Braxton Coverdell, Dylan Huffman, Dusty and Blake Been; and her great great grandchild Anthony Been. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (601 Main St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:55 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
