He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Anderson Sr. and Pearllean Maggie Howard; his wife Roxie Anderson; his brother Tony Anderson; and his grandson Tyrone Anderson, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Woodrow Chapman, Tyrone Chapman (Nikki), Jermaine Anderson of Charleston, Victoria Anderson and Lashonda Anderson of Charleston; his siblings, Eddie Patterson of Charleston, James Anderson of Dogwood, Lawrence Anderson of Yuma, Marshall Anderson of Cape Girardeau, Peggy Anderson of Charleston, Shirley Anderson, Pearlean Anderson of Sikeston, Rosie Townsend of Carbondale, Vienna Anderson of Dyersburg, Patsy Anderson and Joyce Anderson of Metropolis; and his niece Tasha Green. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church (415 W Marshall St, Charleston, MO 63834). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
