She was predeceased by: her daughter Darlene Michelle Hopper Scott; and her siblings, Eugene Slayden, Richard Slayden and Hallie Kimbrel. She is survived by: her spouse John V. "Dugan" Hopper; her grandson Zach Scott (Megan) of Cape Girardeau; her sister Mary Morris of East Prairie; and her friend Henry Franklin of Sikeston.
