It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Rodgers of Charleston, Missouri, born in Mound City, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Idris Pratt, Eric Pratt and Faye Pratt. She is survived by: her parents, Orlando Pratt, Sr. and Zepharine Henry McElrath; her husband Lenzey Rodgers; her children, Marcus Pratt (Vanessa), Apollo Hughes, Shanta Lathan, Jovanda Pratt, Zepharine Williams, Shaniece Mackins (T. C.) and LaDonna Walker-White (Eugene); and her siblings, Orlando Pratt, Jr., Brian Pratt, Mario Pratt, Victor Pratt, James Pratt, Nicholas Pratt, Malinda McElrath, Belinda Hall, Roylene Copening and Tiangela Pratt. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
