It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Clemons Johnson (Charleston, Missouri), who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Clemons and Margrett Clemons (Dickson); and her sister-in-law Bonnie Clemons of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Johnson; her siblings, Herbert Clemons, Willie Clemons, Geneva Clemons, Laura Louise Browning (Clemons) and Martha Ann Green (Clemons); her children, Jimmy (Melissa Clemons), Mario Clemons of Chicago, Decarlos Clemons of Champaign, Illinois., Nonyumeka Clemons, Shalonda Clemons of Charleston and Yaszmin Rodgers (Clemons) of Nashville, Tennessee.; her son-in-law Adrian Rodgers Sr.; her siblings, Clifford Clemons of North Riverside, Albirdie Shaw (Clemons) of Sikeston and Betty Hill (Clemons) of University Park; and her close friends, Taffy Clark and Teresa Hedgewood. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
