He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo Griggs; his daughters, Tami Cox and Dawn Scherer (Anthony); his granddaughters, Mamie Cox and Cori Butler; and his brother Sam Griggs. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
