He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Lee Meeks and Jessie Ann Thurman Graham; his stepfather Carroll Graham (Jake); and his siblings, Marshall Dale Meeks (Bad Bill), David Lee Graham and Joyce Ellen Thurman.
He is survived by: his children, David Earl Meeks (Daniell) of Paducah, KY, Michael Dale Meeks (Jessica) of Charleston and Jeannie Billington (Shawn) of Oran; and his siblings, Marcus Teague of Charleston, Retha Graham Cohen (David) of Diehlstadt and Marsha Martin of Imperial. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
