He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Carden and Mary Margaret Wainscott Carden; his stepfather Harold Willard Martin; and his sisters, Ruby Carden Scruggs and Janet Carden.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Carden (Sandy) of East Prairie, Chris Carden of Charleston and Necie Hall of East Prairie; his sister Patricia Carden of East Prairie; his grandsons, Ben Hall (Kasey), Brian Carden (Dawn) and Kelly Carden (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Meashia, Nevaeh, Melanie, Harry, Hunter, Gunnar and Cash; and his pets, Marley and Tyson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
