He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Meyer; his children, Elizabeth Ann Lowe (Brian) of Sikeston, Wendy Couch (Bobby) of Benton, Terry Clifton of Charleston, Jama Smith of Doniphan, James William Smith, Jr. (Maren) of Drexel, MO and Jeremy Lee Smith of Dexter; and his sister Kathy Allred (Charles) of Sikeston. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
