He is survived by: his children, David Gaskins (Ruby) of Olmstead, IL, Harvey Lee Gaskins, Jr. (Suzanne) of Karnak, IL, Stacey Gaskins (Kitty) of Lebanon, MO, Jacob Shue (Mandy) of Springfield, MO, Kevin Vinson (Tiffany) of Walnut Grove, MO, Jo Ann Gaskins Seals of East Prairie, Connie Stigall (David) of Wickliffe, KY, Sheila Kaye Brewer of East Prairie, Teresa Box (Shawn) of Cairo, IL, Melissa and Jerry Lee Summers-Rains (J. R.) of Sikeston; his niece Barbara Dye Taylor; and his son Eugene Earnheart of Charleston. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
