He is survived by: his parents, John Hightower of Charleston and Josephine Ulmer Hightower of Charleston; his wife Kathy Sargent Ulmer of Herrin; his son Germane Ulmer, Jr. of Herrin; and his siblings, Richard Ulmer, Marcus Ulmer, John Ulmer of Springfield, Charles Ulmer of Decatur, Illinois Keith Hightower of Charleston, Adrian Harris of St. Louis, Tomeko Emanuel (Sheena Hightower) and Beyonc. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
