He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Oliver and Mary Lee Hampton Oliver; his wife Katie Davis Oliver; his grandparents, John, Lucille Burton Oliver, George and Adline Long Hampton; his siblings, George McCray, Aljnory Smith, Billy Gene Oliver, Dorothy C. Oliver, Eddie Mae Oliver and Janette Oliver; his son Justin Cleaves; and his grandchildren, Akeem Oliver and Chris Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Oliver of Gary, Lucinda Oliver-Young of Gary, Barbara K. Jones of Atlanta, Callie Robinson of Cape Girardeau, Lawanda Moore and Lysonia Moore of Charleston; his siblings, Wayne Oliver of Chicago, Harold Oliver of Fargo, Irness Fennell (Huriah, Jr.) and Bobbie Dunigan of Charleston; and his uncle Curtis Oliver of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
