He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Austin and Myrtle Ann Shreve Austin; his wife Myrtle "Sisser" Goodin; his siblings, Victor, Kenneth and Leola; and his son Stephen (Sherry).
He is survived by: his stepsons, Sam and David (Elizabeth); his stepgrandchildren, Catherine Jane, Reagan Kate, Ryan James, Alex Samuel, Matthew Gibson and Rory Bruce; his grandsons, Ryan, Alex, Matthew and Rory Austin; and his nephews, Scott Brink, Flipper Naile and Frank Goodman.
